(no subject)
hi! i went to the doctor today. here's the plan: if i don't have the baby this weekend, i have an appointment for (another) non-stress test and biophysical on monday. if that's all good, she'll let me go to until thursday before they will want to induce me. i'll be right around 42 weeks then. i strangely feel calm because i have a deadline now. i don't want to be induced, but by next thursday - it'll be time to get the show on the road and i'm certainly okay with that.
today, the baby's foot appeared in all it's tiny little chubby glory on the ultrasound and it was the cutest thing i've ever seen. my heart soared. it was the first time in this pregnancy where it wasn't a surreal moment. of all the ultrasounds i have had, i was never able to connect to them cause nothing looked real. but the foot!! it was perfect!!!
