Argh. Had a moment of inspiration about summer placements and remembered that the Nuffield foundation do undergraduate ones too, only to find out that the last date for applications was tuesday. Oh well, I can try for one next year I suppose. Stupid, stupid.
Had a very down morning this morning. Well maybe not morning as I got up at 11, having fallen asleep again after my alarm. Anyway, wasn't feeling fab. So after lunch and shower went for a walk to try to clear my head a bit, and it did help somewhat.
Other things of note today (or not, depending on your pov) include a parcel from mum (necklace and bracelet from Kenya, chocolate from airport in France, vitamin c tablets, a novel, and a letter), and going to see "Little Miss Sunshine" with Lizzie and a couple of her friends. Also bought a Somerfield Simply Value Raspberry Flavour Sponge, which was only 56p. Consequently I am rather dubious as to it's ability to be classified as food. Sounds potentially dangerous, especially as, as well as raspberry 'flavour' fillin, it also contains marshmallow filling. Hmm.
If I don't make it to lectures on Monday, that's the reason.
