More amazing uni life...
So, I've been really enjoying uni. It's fantastic.
This last week there's been lots more staying up late on the part of Lottie and me, and also some going out (shock horror!). On Thursday we went to Fuzz Club with some other corridor people again. It was fantastic! The bands weren't exactly amazing, and one in particular was so bad it was funny, but the rest of the time was good, and we had fun. Then on Friday night, we went to Offbeat! Offbeat is another indie night in the union, but less rock-y that Fuzz is - at Offbeat you will quite often hear things like Belle & Sebastian, Camera Obscura, etc, as well. Anyway, it was great fun! Just Lottie and I went, but we bumped into this guy who I sort of know through photo soc, and it was good fun. We stayed til it finished, at 1am, and then went for our customary burger from the van outside the union. Yum. Unfortunately, the guy from photosoc also took this opportunity to ask me out for coffee, but I think he realises I'm not interested in him as anything other than a friend, so it should be fine.
Anyway, Friday night ended with some chatting and lying about in the corridor, and me falling asleep for a bit on the corridor floor, so we moved to my room and chatted some more and Lottie fell asleep on my floor. So we decided to call it a night.
Then on saturday morning we left for Doncaster! Lottie showed me round a bit, and introduced me to the amazing cheap shops, and we stayed over at her place. I got my ears pierced again! A second piercing in each lobe. I like it. Lottie got one in the top part of one of her ears. There was blood. Apparently I looked scared. The end result is good though.
Now I really should be researching my Spanish essay, so this will have to finish.
