Buncha kids got together, started beating up tourists. They'd hit one, stop for a while, move on to another one. One guy they got wasn't a tourist but a local. They beat him so bad he died. One woman and another man are scarred for life from it.

The second guy... my friend tried to stop it from happening. Came across the crime in progress and drove in, trying to break it up. He hit a kid on accident because the kid came after him with a rock. It was self defense, 'course no one besides us really saw it that way.

And... my friend got dragged from his car, and got the hell beat out of him for it.

We found the kids responsible, but that's just it, they were kids. One guy got jail time, everyone else got a slap on the wrist because they were under 18. Way I see it that's not justice - they knew damn good an' well what they were doing.

Th' way I see it, no matter what age, if they knew full fuckin' well what they were doin' was wrong and did it anyway, they deserve more'n just a wrist slappin'. Kids these days! I'm glad my boy's a good boy.

Some people honestly wanted to pass it off as 'it's just Vegas'. Hell no it ain't just Vegas. Parents are responsible, too! And even the kids gotta have some sense of right and wrong in their heads! They think they can do whatever they hell they want just because the city was built on skin and money...

Over protective might not be a bad thing... seen way too many kids and parents both just not give a damn...
