I just finished reading The Phantom Limbs of the Rollow Sisters by Timothy Schaffert. I love this book. It's so good. I'm pretty sure this will be the only time I read it, but I know I'll always remember it. Whenever I read this book, it made me feel deep and profound. This only intensified when I would read it after my philosophy class. Even though it is somewhat a slightly depressing book, I always felt good reading it. Limbs waas very entertaining and I'm glad I got it as a birthday present last year. I'm even more glad I decided to keep it, instead of giving it to a library or selling it in a yard sale. I don't like throwing birthday presents or cards away until well over a year from that particular birthday. So I'm glad I kept it. I don't even remember who gave me it because, that year it seemed like I only got books for presents, which I admit bummed me out. About a month ago, I finished another book I got on my birthday, Happy Birthday or Whatever by Annie Choi. I like that book too. I recommend it. funny.
All in all, Phantom Limbs is a good read, and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading about family tragedy or anyone who enjoys reading odd, off-beat novels. Enjoy!
