6th Bomb|| [Hayato Gokudera] || Video/in person

[The feed starts on with a crash as the teen had pegged the frogpad against the wall.]

YOU MOTHER FUCKING BASTARDS! LET ME THE FUCK OUT OF HERE! I NEED TO GO BACK!

[There's the sound of something crashing against the walls repeatedly. For a brief moment Hayato comes on screen, beside table in his hands mid-throw, and not a moment after ( Read more... )

[Moritz couldn't handle his own video. He had left his room, but somehow had taken his Pad with him. He didn't want to look at it, but he couldn't deny what was on it as anything other than truth. As he walked past Dera's room, he heard the commotion. He took a shaky breath before knocking.]

Gokudera?

[He braced himself for the verbal assault that would probably follow, but he doubted there was anything that could make him any more shaken than he was now.]

[The teen slowly made his way to the door and opened it with trembling hands. He looks rather pale, and his knuckles are bleeding, shards of wood stuck in them. Even his voice is lacking it's usual sharp edge, coming out meager and weak. The look on Moritz's face told him all he needed to know...]

You got one too.

[Moritz supressed the urge to become suddenly and violently ill. He nodded, his already pale face ghastly white.]

I think everyone did...

[He looked down at the FrogPad as he heard it begin to play again. He threw it hard against the hall wall. It clattered to the ground, still playing faintly.]

This is so fucked...

[Hayato had already violently relieved the contents of his stomach in his torn apart room. Though it didn't make him feel any better. He took his cigarette stash out of his pocket and put one in his mouth, though it takes him a minute to get his light going, his shaking hands causing him to fumble it for a moment. Once he's finally got his lit, he offers his stash to Moritz. Usually someone would have to pry his cigarettes from his cold dead hands to get one, but... he wasn't exactly feeling like his usual self.]

I'm goin' outside. I don't want to be in here any more.

[He takes a cigarette lighting it with matches he had kept. How he wished he could just get rid of his memory the way he could burn off a cigarette. Moritz kicked the ground and turned, heading towards the exit of the building. He had to fight the urge with every step to just hold the lit tip against the lavish furnishings and burn this place to the ground, but if some complaining brought this punishment on, it seemed that actual fighting would probably result in much more. He reached the door and pushed it open, but the sight of Ilse running off, throwing her flowers to the ground haunted him even more with the sight of all of these roses.]

How easy it would be to just say screw it all

[Moritz wasn't even paying attention to his pseudo-friend at this point.]

And let them win? Tch, like hell.

[The teen takes in a deep shaky breath when he gets outside, his eyes still moist from the video running through his head. Suddenly that cigarette didn't taste so good. The image of Yamamoto brings the teen to his knees again and he starts to dry heave. Right on cue the device begins playing in his pocket. Hayato reaches to pull it out and begins frantically trying to turn it off through his coughing. Unable to do so he tosses it off to the side, and just remains on the ground head in his hands, almost curled up in a little ball]

I-I just want to go home...

[It was hard to remember that despite everything that was happening, these two were simply 14 year old boys]

Win? I doubt there are any winners here.

[He flicks his cigarette off to the side and looks over to the flowers. He couldn't help but think of his own brains splattered all over them and he fell to the ground, vomiting into the nearest flower bed. He stayed on the ground, grasping the dirt tightly.]

I can't go home...

[it takes the teen some time before he recovers enough and sit himself up. He looks vacantly at the sky for a moment. Gathering himself together. He could be the week one. No, it was his job to help the Tenth keep the family together. He looks on the ground for his cigarette, he found it on the grass, still lit and causing the grass to singe... then it came to him.]

Let's burn it.

[Moritz looks up suddenly. The thought had crossed his own mind, but he hadn't taken it seriously. Why wouldn't it burn? He fished the matches back and held them up.]

Burn it.

[There was no excitement. No horror. Simply acceptance.]

We have to start it away from people. We can't hurt anybody else.

I'll need to get a map... I can calculate the weakest structures and we can light those first... Versailles has burned a shitload of times before.

[He thinks for a moment, his head begining to clear, his thoughts and theories pushing out the memory he had yet to experience]

If we start it at a center-point that's public, it will alert people to the fire and give them ample time to escape.... without cutting off any exits... but it would probably put out... after the initial warning fire we would need to work at the foundation level. Start at the bottom so that it rises. This place is mostly made of wood so it'll go up pretty quick. It's what happened when this place had gone up before.

[Moritz stood up nervously, thinking it over.]

Instead of central, why couldn't we just start at one side? Push everyone out one exit.

[He looked at those flowers that had made him so sick before. This was what he had missed in his memory. Time to become angry. Time to wait out the sadness. Now he just wanted to destroy everything. If he went with it all, so be it.]

We can start on one side of the grounds and keep it going to the outside of the building? If its burned before, this shouldn't be hard.

[The teen shakes his head]

If we start at one side the fire could burn itself out before the building is finished. We start at the center even if it burns out it would be unstable enough to collapse in on itself.

[Hayato pulls his hair back and takes his glasses out of his pocket. This was just like the hits he did back in Italy. Only this was child's play.]

I need a map. the building schematics would be ideal, but I don't think we'll be that lucky. If I can just get the foundation of the building down. If we kill the foundation this whole place is gunna come crashing the fuck down... and we win.

I wonder if this building is built like the schools back home? Everything is built on a circle back there. All you have to do is follow the halls until they all converge. Then you're at the middle.

Re: [In person] killer_melon May 23 2011, 06:21:00 UTC
A circle?... so one place all the halls will eventually take you through...

[It would make sense, his time was far closer to Versailles... while parts of the structure was similar to the old Italian chapels. However Italy had concrete. This place lacked that.... Now where was the center-point? Where were the devastating fires before?! He begins to pace about muttering to himself, completely lost in thought. He remembered where the fires started. The chandeliers in-]

The hall of mirrors! The first fires started there! While it didn't completely wipe this place off the map, it did a hell of a number! And it wasn't intentional. With some extra encouragement this place will go down easy!

The Hall of...? I guess that's perfect then! All that glass would have to only help, and I bet there's wood holding all of them together.

[Moritz tried desperately to remember anything from school about maps or anything that could help with Versailles.]

I bet we can find it without a map. How hard can it be to find a room of mirrors?

It's the only way to get from the east side of the building to the west. The floor and ceiling will be quick and easy... we can get some lamp oil, spill it on the floor.... but we'll need to gun it out of there after. The heat will eventually make the mirrors burst. And glass shards hurt like a bitch.

[A wicked little smirk spreads across his face]

Let's send this place to hell Morty.
