Extermination 5 // Love is a Battlefield [Video/In Person]
[Sango is fighting steadily, almost mechanically, in her peculiar demon slayer suit, bloodied and sweaty and fierce. She's in the midst of the chaos - with a large spot cleared around her - carving into the front lines and advancing. The friendly army is wary of her massive boomerang and gives it a wide berth and the enemy army can't get close as she tirelessly grunts and hurls it, knocking down, if not incapacitating or killing, several enemies with each toss. It's hazy at the moment, even to Sango, how she got involved in this battle in the first place.
Suddenly finding herself hit by the arrow of a sharp archer, Sango cries out and falls back. She ducks into the nearest structure, an abandoned enemy tent on the outskirts of the camp, hoping to avoid the battle for a few fleeting moments. Sango has just broken the arrow's shaft as she's approached by a large, nondescript man and handed a letter. Seconds after she's finished reading, her Frogpad beeps significantly and she checks that too. With a thoughtful, serious expression on her face, Sango bites down and finishes with the arrow wound.
She then broadcasts a video to her fellow members of Versailles - still bloodied, sweaty, and somber-faced, mussed and red-cheeked, with a dirty white rag tied around her shoulder from the arrow wound.]
Hello? Everyone?
[A pause.]
I think I'm correct in assuming that everyone got the notice about the flags? [She doesn't wait for an answer.] I think it would be best if we search for them together. I remember seeing a recurring symbol around the palace, if that's what this H person means.
Also, I'd be interested in making sure that everyone is, for the most part, alright.
