My head is a maze

School is going to be starting up again soon. I really don't know why I go to college, besides the fact that the one up here is incredibly cheap for my family, and I feel like I have an obligation to them. Perhaps you know that feeling, the one where you love someone incredibly, and would end up doing anything for them, even as you've realized as ( Read more... )

Hmm...that is an interesting predicament. But I have met people in similar situations--for example many xians will happily go and share the gospel with random strangers but when it comes to relatives in their own families...well...

Do you lucid dream intentionally by any chance? Not too many people even have dream recall so I wondered. Sometimes it can be an art but I find it to be rewarding and therapeutic. If you don't know what it is, here if your interested: http://www.wikihow.com/Lucid-Dream

Peace!

Exactly; haha, and I suppose my problem is that I'm so afraid of offending them I'm not willing to help them. Now that I've realized it, I can start working to kick my own reluctance around a bit, heh!... It might be a bit of an upward struggle, but we're no strangers to those, am I right?

Ah, and very much so! Actually, I started this half-out of a desire to keep a dream diary that didn't end in my horrible, illegible handwriting, bwahaha! It's very cool to meet another lucid dreamer; even when hard to decipher, they lead to a deeper since of inner peace, and sometimes a subconscious aid to problems in the real world.

Um if your first statement was sarcastic, I wasn't trying to point out your fault--I was just sharing something I had experienced--just in case.

Great! Hey if you go to the bottom of my profile, there's a community called dreamscape_talk which I'm apart of and in which I post some of my dreams. You might join. And I heartily agree with that assessment of the manifold benefits of lucid dreaming--despite the fact that sadly many I've talked to about it are fairly skeptical.

Oh, no, no! I'm rarely sarcastic, and when I am, it's usually pretty obvious; curse the internet for my inability to convey emotion well. xD Truthfully, this has been one of the most therapeutic things I've ever gone out and done, and all comments are appreciated. :) Especially since it sounds like we've had similar experiences.

Dreamscapes! Sounds absolutely inspired! I'll stop on by, especially because a lot of people I've mentioned it to are skeptical well, and while I respect their skeptability (susceptability? Bwahaha!), I figure that in a way, it's a form of people to shield themselves from risks. I know I used to use it as a shield a lot, anyhow.
