Anyway. So last night was really fun, as I had good food, and went the the acapella concert at J street.
I just thought I would relate something that did happen though that I thought was kinda strange.
So, I don't think it is a big deal to hold hands with people...is it a sign of commitment? I don't know. My friend Stephanie and I kept bumping hands, so we decided to hold hands and we were swinging them back and forth. As we entered the restraunt, someone leaving (they were right next to us!) and pointed to us and said...
"Look! Lesbians!"
Its not like it bothered me, or that I was even suprised that someone would say something, but seriously, how tactless. Why is it that I can hold hands with Jingo all over Salem, and no one says anything, but in Dupont Circle (Dupont Circle!) is where I get it? I don't know.
I only say this because Dupont Circle is the gay captial of Washington D.C. In fact, this is the place where they have "Drag" Races. If those people were saying it about Stephanie and I, they would have to be saying it about a lot of people in the area...
Whatever. I thought it was kinda funny. Ha ha funny too.
Otherwise things are going well except that I have to work all the time, and when I'm not working I'm doing school work. Ahhhhhh. Kato, I'll call you this weekend. Maybe Jingo too.
