I bet you didn't think I'd do it.
1. What is it about wearing dresses and makeup that you dislike?
With dresses, I don't feel I look good in most- they really do make me look fat. Plus I have some ugly veins on my legs. Furthermore, I just feel more comfy wearing pants. As for makeup, I usually just can't be bothered to put it on; I find it too time consuming. I never really got the knack for applying it either. I'm never happy with how it looks when I do it, which is why I will get someone else that's better at it to do it if I can.
I've never tried to post a pic before, but if it works, here's what I wore to Ryan and Jen's wedding:
2. Did you and Geoff wind up getting married while down there (Key West)?
No.
3. What was it like traveling with Geoff?
We had a good vacation, and spent some good quality time together. However, I definitely felt that I was running the show. I knew what to do in the airport (Geoff hadn't flown since the 80's) and I more or less planned out what we were going to do each day. Not that I was rigidly orchestrating every minute, but he tended to go along with whatever I suggested. It kind of made me feel as if I was leading him around by the nose. I felt at times that I wanted him to give more input, but he's always been one to go with the flow and we had fun wherever we went. Geoff had also never been to Florida at all so I think he was open to anything. Anyway, we tended to visit museums and parks and I was surprised to find that he enjoyed these things, since at home I usually do that stuff with others while he's DJ'ing. I told him he should come with me to places like Sandy Hook more often. I hope now we can make time to do more together.
4. What ever happened to that Ikea table you wanted so badly?
I bought it months ago. I thought I told you.
5. What is one thing you'd like to accomplish in the next five years? (other than find another job)
This sounds like one of those job interview questions I dread. I hope to do more volunteer work and in doing so create my own exhibits and lectures on natural history.
