Okay, so, I've been busy as hell!
My dryer broke, so I've been having to line dry clothes and diapers. Not terrible, but they get stiff. Usually if I line dry, I toss the load in the dryer and tumble for 10 minutes on no heat to soften them up. I can't do that now. Coy is going here in about a half hour to look at a new old one. Hopefully I can get that in this weekend so I can dry the diapers at least!!
Em is getting pretty big! I think she is normal baby size now! She is still fitting her extra small WonderWorks diapers, but no longer the preemie litewraps. I need to get those sold. I should be set on diapers for her, because soon she will fit into the SugarPeas. It just means that I will have to get Kai potty trained the rest of the way. Speaking of, he has been doing pretty good with peeing on the potty chair. He has an aversion to telling us when he has to go, but occasionally he will tell us. I have been letting him run naked around the house the majority of the time, but I am a bit tired of cleaning up pee spots all day.
Friday is my photography seminar in Des Moines. I am super excited, yet scared. It will be the first time longer than an hour or two that I am gone from Em. I just have to make sure I bring my pump, so I don't get too engorged. We gave her a bottle the other day, just to see how well she would take it. She did pretty good. We also broke down and gave her a pacifier. The paci is just for the car and super upset moments where I can't nurse her. It will be a good thing for Coy this weekend.
I should probably go take a look at the dishes and try to get some of those done. Making pasta last night was wonderful, it tasted so delicious. Whole wheat pasta with homemade alfredo sauce. italian bread with tomato and olive oil topping and melted asiago and parmesan cheese. Yeah, there is a reason I haven't lost weight. :(
