First post:
The tea party event today was a roaring success, even though Darcy and Bowen and I didn't get to finish our cribbage game. We played a lot of frog toss. The sun shone through the orange slices, and some people wore formal clothes. Now we have plenty of tea left over for ourselves.
Early Wednesday morning (1:00 am), I climbed higher on the music center than I had ever before, right to the top of the receital hall (made possible by a ladder conveniently left up there by some thoughtful soul), which is flat and wide and covered with loose gravel. It was dark and not too cold and the view was lovely. We dropped a little parachuting man off the edge, a glow stick hooked neatly through his arm. It was not a long adventure, but we have plans to return, and spend the night.
I just learned this: hi-lighter marker shows up perfectly on skin, under a blacklight, while in normal lighting conditions, you can't see a thing. I have a secret smiley face on my cheek, among other things.
I promise that the next journal entry I post will have a real purpose. Actually, I shouldn't make any promises. Promise withdrawn.
