Painting woo
Heh, I love opening my e-mail and seeing 40 lj comments in response to my geeky, geeky creations. I LOVE THE POWER OF X-POSTING. AND I LOVE JOHN HODGMAN JUST ON PRINCIPLE.
I also like having my Googleslash icon as my default, and posting everywhere with it.
Got blood drawn this morning. Waking up at 7 would have been easier if last night I had remembered that I was going to get blood drawn, and maybe gone to bed before 3.
And then I tried to sleep afterwards and the stupid, STUPID dog kept WHINING. Mmm, movement-restricted arm, cat asleep on my face, and fingernails-on-a-chalkboard Greyhound whining. A RECIPE FOR FUN.
It was originally supposed to be that guy I dreamt about weeks ago, but the color scheme is making him looking very ethnic...I think I'll just roll with it. Today I'll do the pupils and fix the mouth. But for no model save the guy in my head (who I guess I'll just attempt later- I do have two more pieces of 10x10 canvas board,) I'm fairly pleased. Especially with the left side of the nose:
