Mystic! Wee Sam&Dean Photo in Sam's Treasure Box!!
Or how SPN season 11 episod 11 rectifies almost 75% of what went wrong with the Love Story that has taken over my life for the past decade.
- Sam has never forgiven himself for not looking for Dean when he was in Purgatory. So glad they touched back on this BIGGEST mistake of Sam's life and the SPN writers. Still doesn't make it okay they even went there (remember Groundhog's Day??). Still doesn't make it acceptable how (okay, I'm sorry I have to say this) wimpy Sam has become (case in point season 1-5.5). But man, did that feel good. Feels like some kind of benediction.
- Dean: "All that matters now, all that's EVER matter is that we are TOGETHER. So shut up and drink your beer." REALLY?????? How much more wincesty does it get. Have been so long since they've thrown us a bone. Breath of fresh air.
- Photo of wee Sam&Dean (they CGI wee Jared and Jensen together??? THEY ACTUALLY DID THAT???) in Sam's treasure box. Seriously. SERIOUSLY.
- Sammy sleeping on his side, holding on to the pillow. So much love.
- Mildred saying to Dean: "Darlin' if there's one thing I learn from all the years on the road, it's when someone is pining for somebody else..." If only the ficcers of the Before haven't given up on the Epic Love of Sam and Dean...now would be the time when the fandom actually explode.
- Sam is still totally not back to being his ultra Toppy self, and that ship may have sailed and I may have to give up and let go. Sam&Dean's back though. Maybe a good time for me to look for more good fic...i don't know, man.
