The notebook
I just got finished watching the movie "The Notebook" and it has to be the saddest movie I have ever seen.
I have great sympathy for Noah in the movie because I saw what my grandfather went through when my grandmother lost her memories and the hope he clung to, that maybe someday she would remember again. The days she remembered something made him so happy and when she couldn't remember he said that it was ok and he reassured her that she was loved.
I can't imagine what he went through when others were not around but this movie gave me a small glimpse into that experience.
I hope to always remember the love they shared for each other.
