Welcome to my LJ. My name is Amanda Lee. I’m twenty-six, a serious lover of K-Pop (with some J-Pop and C-Pop on the side) and a big old nerd.

I love math and science but I just didn’t have the brains to follow either up as a career. Being a forensic scientist has been my dream for goddess knows how long, but when I got to high school and learned how much math and science courses I’d have to take I sort of let that dream die. Plus my guidance counselor straight up told me I wasn’t “smart enough” for that stuff. I do plan to go into acting at some point though, so maybe I'll just play a forensic scientist on TV. That's close enough to the real thing, right?

I’m a Virgo who was born in the Year of the Rabbit. Which apparently means this: Virgo Rabbits are incredibly and almost annoyingly organized. They can be seen as anal, but trust they will never lose anything and will finish most projects they start. They are a bit fussy about their neatness, but are some of the most efficient people you will ever meet. Haha yep, that's me to a fucking T.

I’m organized but at the same time I’m messy. I'm definitely a firm believer of "everything has a place and everything in it's place", but I also believe in what can best be called "an organized mess". As long as I know where everything is, I'm good.

I have been known to use weird phrases that you probably haven't heard in years ("wicked mad", "honest for serious" and "cool beans" come to mind) and I probably have serious problems up in my head. But I've made it to age twenty-five so there must be something up there keeping me sane.

I like Chinese food and strawberry milk. Not at the same time though 'cause that's just gross.

I love, love, love bright colours! Just five years ago I wouldn't have said that about myself since my wardrobe used to consist of black, black, black, more black and even more black. But now I can usually be seen wearing a lime green sweater over a red t-shirt accompanied by a bright blue purse and pink sneakers. And my socks never match either.

English is my first (and so far only) language but you wouldn't know it if you heard me speak. My tongue goes all "ajhsjkdsjddkdkfd" on me when I try to pronounce the simplest of words. I can say things like "antidisestablishmentarianism" no problem but ask me to say "magnificence" or "medieval" and my tongue gets confused. It's almost as if there's a short circuit between my brain and tongue that causes me to forget how to speak simple words. IDEK.

I've got a mother, a father and two pain in the ass brothers. I act like I hate my brothers but it's mostly because they're super annoying. With eleven years between them and me stuck right smack in the middle, it's a wonder we get along as well as we do. I love my parents to death though. I'm a definite Daddy's girl and my Mum is probably my best friend.

I'm bisexual, btw. My Mum says it's a phase, but lmao it's been ten years since I came out so I highly doubt it's a phase anymore. I've never had any serious boyfriends or girlfriends but I've fooled around enough with both sexes to know that I'm attracted to both. I'm not a slut either, just generous.

My friends would tell you I'm a pedo, but it's not my fault that all the Korean celebrities I have crushes on are younger than me! It's not my fault I was born first, it's theirs. That's my story and I'm sticking to it goddamnit.

Take me or leave me, I am who I am and that's all there is to it.
