I think for my next lecture, I'm going to go off-syllabus and teach soul detection, so that I can use my students, Largo-style, to help find which squirrels are really squirrels, and which are transformed students. I expect about 90% of the class to fail at this, as it's a very advanced necromantic spell, and

Okay, so we have a professor whose an ex con.. trying to teach magic from a restricted book? I wouldn't mind learning a new spell or so..

Who determines what magic is restricted anyway?

As for the squirrels that are students.. I might consult the runes about it and see if through their magic it might be possible to determine who is who.. or what.. or.. whatever. If those don't work.. I've got some other items in my arsenal to test.
