Do you know there are people in this world who collect My Little Ponies? And are so obsessed with them they they put up a wholly serious webpage detailing the differences between "Firefly" ("the most famous pony of them all!") and "Moonbeam" or whatever. All I wanted to find out was the range of toys to which a swan and a ladybird I had as a small child belonged, and I still don't know, I just know that there's a line of "magical" My Little Ponies that have their symbols embossed on their fat plastic behind in glitter.
My swan rocked. It was pink and had hair, which is kind of creepy now I think about it, but it was quite elegant for a pink rubber children's toy and it was hollow, so you could open up the wings and put stuff in there and then lock it so no one could get in. I always tried to put sweets in it, but I could never find the fucking key.
I...I miss my swan.
The ladybird did more or less the same thing, but it sucked.
