Facebook pet peeves
I cannot vehemently vomit this out at facebook because some issues are sensitive. Let me put a list of the peeves. Was browsing through FB when a friend asked at her awesome post "what's your facebook pet peeve?" This inspired me to make an entry of my own list.
1. Fan Check. At first it was cool. Actually I'm fine with it. But because I am tagged suddenly I have tonnes of spam from other unknowns, my friend's friends. That pissed me off because I do not know them and I have to clean the messy inbox. As I type, the endless comments are still flooding my inbox because friend's friends are "chatting" at the comments part. Stop it siaaaaaaaaaal. Sigh. I'm sorry I do not mean to be anal but yes you get my point. I'm a perfectionist and I do not like flooded inboxes.
2. Wailings and feeling down posts. Like "feels like dying" or "is feeling suicidal" get a fucking life. You just want people to comment and pity you. People dont get rich by endless comments.
3. Okay its not wrong to post pics of your kids, of course its cool but my elder cousin is super overly annoying. He will weekly post. Adam at Week 56, Week 57...Week 1000 or 1500 dont want to post ah? Sorry, okay I get it you are proud of your son but I'm not interested to see weekly progress. God please dont make me do that when my kid is here soon. Monthly is fine lah but weekly? *scratches head*
4. Pestering invites to groups or fanpages. Simply put it, if I am a fan of a certain thing, my own intiative will make me search and I will automatically Become a Fan. Unless I really don't know such page exist and you of all people realize that if I didnt join I will miss out on the world. That's fine. There is no need to tell me or suggest me to be one. And when I keep declining by pressing Ignore it will come again. Stop it lah these people who love to press "Send to All". Fuck it.
5. Shared couple profiles. Who is who? Bf post or gf post? How to tag them if both in same photos? As my friend Su have quoted, "there is a reason why FB is free." So why some couples share profiles? Get a life. Not yet married want to be lovey dovey. We'll see how these couples are when they are married. Rolls eyes. I can comment because I am married. But at least I'm not like these shared couple profiles. Can they just die or something? Sorry nasty mode here.
PS: Kalau orang kata aku ni kuat mengutuk, apa beza kau dengan aku? Ada orang-orang mengutuk atau cakap pasal orang dari belakang lagi dengan cara jahanam. So does that make you any better? Heh.
