Holiday crowd uh uh not healthy
I am freaking working half day on a Saturday after yesterday's holiday. Is that crazy or what? Sigh.
I seriously feel that one should not really go out during public holidays. Massive jams, massive queues, massive god knows what. Due to the hype the media made about Tampines 1, I decided to check it out. Gah! Wrong move!
Take escalator also must queue. I feel like fainting. And the massive crazy jam at most of the malls in Tampines made me feel like pulling my hair out. Almost all carparks are full. It feels like Geylang bazaar at Tampines 1. I had to walk small steps to avoid stepping on people's toes. And that Uniqlo store or whatever its called; its queues are freaking crazy, snaking even near the toilet. Singaporeans and queues go together. I am sometimes ashamed to be Singaporean because of the kiasuism. Queue for escalator also must cut is it? Nabei cibai!
The highlight of the day was watching Japanese movie Handsome Suit at GV Tampines. We wanted something silly and light hearted. I went to watch with zero expectations and came out fully satisfied.

Although it sounds silly that one can transform my wearing a "magic handsome suit", the movie has a simple message. Would you choose to be good looking with money but lonely at the top or ugly but happy and comfortable? I'm only human. I would choose the first one. Sigh.
