Even worse than I thought, actually.
Last night I walked out of a restaurant after waiting what felt like 20 minutes for a server to actually give me a menu (first waited a long while to get a "hello, what can I get you?" and then another long while when my answer was "a menu?", and then another little while after she came back without a menu to tell me she'd be back shortly with a menu).
I sent an email to the restaurant. I said 20 minutes was too long to wait to begin deciding what to order.
This morning I wondered if perhaps in my frustration I was exaggerating the wait time.
According to this slightly creepy tool I was actually not there for 20 minutes. I was actually there for almost 40 minutes.
