Tribulations and triumphs
I've started donating plasma twice a week. At $50/donation (currently. The pay structure is positively Byzantine. But as far as I can tell the minimum is $30), the extra cash is most welcome.
But I don't have enough on hand to actually pay my mortgage before the late fee on Saturday. But overall it looks like I will be surviving for a while yet.
I sent out the offer for ice cream, and got no paying responses. But I got enough feedback to know the email did in fact go out (last time I got nothing back it was because I'd fouled up something and no actual email had gone out). So in another few days I will send it out again and add some more flavors; maybe no one wanted the flavors I happened to choose.
The additional flavors will likely include hibiscus. I made hibiscus syrup this morning and it turned out quite well.
