And we're back.
Surgery was fine as far as I know; I was insensate for the whole thing. The left top quadrant of my face is numb, from my upper teeth to well back on the top of my head and from my nose to almost my ear. Big gauze pad like Steve Austin. I'm hoping the device they put in me is as cool as the one they put in him.

I now see as well without a contact in my left eye as I do with a contact in my right. There is a slight loss of acuity caused by the implant not correcting the astigmatism. (because the astigmatism is too small; they don't make an implant to fix that slight an imperfection, because the extra complexity of the installation is not worth it)
