We're not looking for thinkers.
Taking an online survey. One of the early questions is always "do you work in the following industries?" and you check next to the ones you do work in if any; one of them is the one they don't want to hear from. This one then asked "do you work for [list containing a tobacco company and its subsidiaries]?"
The next question was "How interested are you in Public Policy issues?" (not at all, a little, somewhat, very)
I chose "somewhat." ...and that washed me out of the survey. They clearly were looking for people who don't think too hard about stuff.
