Quit changing my school!

Just posted to support:

In the 70s, I attended a small parent-run school (of the sort that were popular with radicals in those days) called Lake View Community School.

I added my school to my profile.

A few weeks later I noticed that it had been changed to "Lake View High School." I deleted that and re-added my school, Lake View Community School ( Read more... )

I have a similar problem, sans the changes.... my school, bustleton elementary, was later changed to anne frank elementary school.

lots of people list anne frank, I'm the only loyalist that stuck to bustleton.

Yeah, I had to send a support request about them changing my junior high into a high school. They fixed it, though!

Send a support request; someone else is probably telling them they're the same.

Same sort of thing here. The schools in my old home town all sucked to hell and gone, and they had a population drop after I left (others got the same idea?) and so a bunch of schools got wrecked or dropped down - high schools to junior highs, that sort of thing. At this point, my HS is a junior high, my main grade school is rubble, and another one is about to be.

I didn't even bother with the next school I attended. It was so small and free-form it didn't really have a name...Or rather, they asked the student body to come up with a name and then were too touchy-feely to make anyone feel bad when there was not consensus, so there were like five names.

My grade school no longer exists; I haven't tried to add it, but I suppose I could.

Interesting. I didn't know that school thing was there.
