Root beer

Sometime next week, Filberts will be calling me to let me know that the root beer is ready.

When that happens, I will be on the hook for $360

Some of you who ordered root beer have sent me money. Thank you mgucciard, rennie_frog, elisem, tanyad, atlanticat, and transplanted and misterweasel.

You'd think. But if one accepts a credit card paypal payment, one becomes a "merchant" and gets charged a percentage and flat per-transaction fee. On everything. Forever. We'll have to work something else out, unless you can do that again from a bank account instead of a credit card.

Interesting... so 1) I have to figure out how to cancel that payment at paypal. 2) Figure out how to get some cash to you. I'm not comfortable with Paypal/eBay having direct access to my checking account. At least with the Credit Card I have some recourse.

You can't cancel it as far as I know. But I can (and did) refuse it.

you used to be able to add money to your paypal account with a credit card, and then pay someone from your paypal account and circumvent that whole "credit card transaction" thing.

does that not work anymore?
