Bought the box, installed it...no real trouble..smooth sailing...got cocky and royally screwed up the whole thing.
Try again tomorrow.
I renamed the root user. I usually do this: rename the root user, create a dummy user with the name "root."
But this time I failed to dot a T or cross my eyes or something, because now it's not accepting logins from the root user's new name, or from root.
No worries. I'll get it in the end. This is much easier than with Gentoo...I didn't realize how simple YaST makes things.
