Guest Recs: “Tim-Riggins-is-teh!SexGod” Stories, Friday Night Lights
My name is random00b and I’m a guest reccer. This past year, I discovered a new television show which quickly became appointment TV: Friday Night Lights. Friday Night Lights is supposedly a show about high school football in Texas, but it’s really about relationships, life, and growing up in a small town.
The FNL fandom is small yet fierce, like its TV viewing audience at large (trust me, y’all, it is the best show you’re not watching), and in love with a character named Tim Riggins. He’s the town’s bad boy, alcoholic-in-training, and teen man-whore…oh yeah, and the team’s fullback (“I just like hitting [and hurting] people.”). Tim has been described, in canon and fanon, as “sex on legs.” Fics in the fandom tend to explore that side of Tim in full, steamy detail…with just about everyone else on the show, male or female.
Below, in no particular order, are, IMHO, the ten best “Tim-Riggins-is-teh!SexGod” stories out there. From the start, though, people have sensed that their relationship more than just friendly…and have written fanfic along that vein. devilc shows that Tim doesn’t let something like quadriplegia stop him from busting a nut.
