And a little bit of background that I feel I need to put out there: I was at Xavier's School through M-day, and mistakenly believed that I had lost my powers. I grabbed my crush (Laurie) by the arm with my bare hand and completely withered her hand. I ran away from the school and (OOC: this is the part that I elaborated on) ended up in the old Morlock tunnels under New York. I didn't have an apartment or a steady job because I'm underage.
And then I was captured. Ta daa.
