Baby Update
He's due in another 5 or so weeks, and everything is going really well. Borderline for gestational diabetes, and trying to avoid the diet! :) I weighed myself, and even though I FEEL huge, I've only gained 6kgs in total- lol.. one of my friends gained 32kgs! Also only 3 and a half weeks away from finishing college forever, and graduate on Nov. 25th- he WILL be here by then, because I refuse to waddle across the stage! (cross-posted)
We are still thinking about names.. I think we will have to wait to see what he looks like and then decide, because at this stage we don't really like each other's names too much. We also have a bet about whether he will have red hair or not- Russ thinks yes, I think he will look like his dad, and have dark hair. Russ has this theory that baby boys look like their mums, and girls look like their dads- we'll see. Speaking of Dads... mine has once again shown an interest in being a part of our lives- actually, i don't think it's us, i think it's the idea of having a grandson that;s got him all motivated this time. Oh well, we'll see if it lasts- I don't have any great hopes- he's a bit annoyed because baby is having Russ's last name, rather than mine or hyphonating- something about wanting to carry on the family legacy- bah- I have plenty of cousins to do that- I certainly don't need to!
Baby Shower next week at some stage- haven't been told when yet- details to follow.
