Rakan on Teito (and Mikage by extension orz)

Fff Teito is exactly the kind of awkward soul that Rakan loves most, with BONUS AMNESIA AND WORLDSAVING. So. He likes him a lot, respects (what he knows of) what he's going through, and would gladly help him in any way he could. He really is the type to label someone a friend pretty much instantly, but he feels a big affinity to Teito specifically. He's glad that Teito doesn't seem to be the kind to push people away when they try to get close to him, even if the situations turn a little awkward.

Admittedly, Rakan is closer to Mikage, but only because he's known him longer, and Mikage is a toppier personality, which Rakan needs to help him open up and discuss certain things. The way Mikage does this is incredibly forthright and friendly though, so in the end Rakan likes it. He figures that Teito must benefit from that kind of relationship too... not to mention that it is completely obvious to him that the two of them care about each other and WANT to make things work, so he IS ROOTING FOR THEM COMPLETELY. As you know, Teito isn't the type to immediately give out the 'friend' label, even if he gets along with someone. Half of this is just being that socially unaware, and the other is it only occurs to him someone is a friend when the relationship has become a lot deeper than mere friendship. But he's getting better and doesn't push people away when they want to be friends anymore, so when Rakan says they're friends Teito isn't quite sure what to do but go along with it and accept the fact

I also kind of assume there has been some offscreen interaction between the two at this point. Does that sound cool, and what do you think it would have been? :D;;;

That sounds cool, Teito tends to have a routine of exercise/library going/time with the kids Capella and Fia anyhow, so it's entirely possible he stops by Rakan's place in the morning to see how the garden is doing and maybe run errands for Bishop Labrador re: gardening.

That makes sense! Rakan is also definitely trying to feed him, because the way to a man's heart is through good wholesome food, so he might interrupt Teito's library time for that.

That icon is from one of the cutest scenes in the manga so far, where Teito buys Frau a scarf with the first paycheck he earned tsundere-ly. |DDD

...that is a good way to get to Teito's heart because Teito loev food. Also in general he needs more sob canon malnutrition.

GOD FFFFFF Final Fantasy? Actually most video game canons I played because I LOVE THEM but augh no time to replay lately.

What would you say your character type is?

D-D'awww.

WELL THERE'S THE OBVIOUS. I like characters who are highly dependent-- not to say synergistic --with another character. But this can manifest in all different kinds of ways: toppy, angry, unhealthy, redeeming, unspoken, romantic... whatever fits the situation!

I like toppy, take charge, independent (with That Exception) characters who secretly bottom a little. Topping through cute or screwed up in the head is also acceptable.

What play style (if any) do you envy?
