My only "hmmmm" might be that he's lost a bit of his bite - there was a slightly callous, investigative aspect of him in the (especially early) manga, and I'm not seeing it right now. I can't really suggest anything to remedy that (helpful amirite?) because I've actually been here and witnessed the character's organic development and can't find anything wrong with it - so I guess on some level it was just... honestly inevitable. Maybe throw him in a few less domestic plots, if the chance comes by? Sob, LIKE I SAID IDEK.
Sherlock: I can't tl;dr properly, not having reread his canon in a while (MORE OF A POIROT FAN, K?), but I like what I've seen of him. Mebbe throw him around moar, if you can - though we've spoken about Our One True Posting Woe, so I know... your problem isn't voice... but getting yourself to... 4hweuowf
Pierce: hmmm, I think REAL comments are premature, all things "dude so new (duuuuuuuuuude)," but he seems all right for the time. I think the voice might need some breaking into, because right now the humour is coming off a tad forced. I'm wondering if you don't personally feel a little pressured to make him sound openly funny, just because he hails from a comedy show.
Laszlo: I like the fact that you're willing to make him show his faisu around, and that you're fleshing out his personality. > ) It's cute.

It's funny you'd mention that lack of bite because I was wondering just the other day if I was making him too nice. He has moments of weakness, but that's far from his normal M.O. It's sometimes easy to slip into because he's just a big ol' messed up ball of messed up (I mean, he is one fucked up kid). But you are right that he really does have a much harsher, sharper edge to him--the White Rabbit story, for example, has him being downright dickish. I'd like to get back to that. There's not a whole lot of opportunity for it of late, but it is a big part of his character. I admit, he has changed since coming into the City, but he can't lose that side to him. If the chance comes by for a different sort of plot, believe me, I will throw him into it. In the meantime, I might be able to tweak his interactions with a few characters to make him a little more edgy. He is relentlessly social and he is popular, so he's got to be at least relatively civil. But he's still Byronic. Got to keep that up.
So, short answer: while you didn't have any suggestions, I think it's good that I noticed what you noticed. It means I'm not seeing things and I can get on to sharpening him up.
Re: Sherlock: IT'S OKAY: I LIKE POIROT TOO. AND HAVE YOU READ ANY CADFAEL? Sob. Yes. The One True Posting Woe is strong. But, I will do my best to get him around. I mean, he should be around. He makes it his business to get involved in these things. So. I will involve him. As best I can.
Re: Hawkeye: He is new and the voice will take some breaking in, but I absolutely see what you mean about things being forced. It's simplistic on my part, but it sometimes seems like he has two modes: OMG LOL and SRS FKNG BZNS. That isn't really true. It's times when he's mad that he starts making jokes. If he's not mad...how does he act? That's got to be my key. I'm just so used to the episodes being setup → joke, setup → joke. It is a comedy, but it's more about wit than about jokes, so that is something to think about...
Re: Laszlo: He's such a jerk. IDK. I actually like throwing him around, even if he is a set-piece, like he is. I mean, he has a personality. IDK if I'd call it cute... But maybe it is. He's an odd one.
♥!! Thank you! If nothing else, even without straight up suggestions, I've got stuff to ponder. And that's good!
