♘ HIRO :

I don't have shit to say about Hiro. I love him. I think he's flourished SO MUCH this month, and I have to say that I'm really impressed and amazed with the amount of work that you put into the wardenship with him. I think this is a character that a lot of people have misconceptions about, but you never have. You know that Hiro is not always that ball of hyperactivity and YATTA. He's a serious character who believes in his destiny, his duty, and he is caring and compassionate and wants to help save the world even if it means giving himself a stroke in the process, literally. I'm so excited that you've updated him, and I literally cannot wait to see what you do with him in the future. I've always felt like Hiro was one of your stronger characters, but he's gotten so much stronger just over these past few weeks, and I'm really glad that he's in-game.

♚ SAM :
Like Hiro, I don't really have shit to say about Sam. I think you play the best Sam on Livejournal, and I really do think that Kripke has been watching both you and Lys for your interpretations of these characters. I'M SERIOUS. Everything that you do with Sam is so wonderfully thought out, and although you might not always agree with what he's doing in canon, you never ignore it in favor of playing out your version of things or sacrificing certain aspects of what he's doing in order to make him a more likable person or a more unlikable person. The whole demon blood thing, obviously, is what comes immediately to mind, and while I think that's something that disappointed a lot of fans and even made you go 'askdjflaksdjfasdf' in accordance with, say, the Siren episode - 'aksdjflaskjdf boys' - you haven't shied away from it, and from both the perspective of someone who plays Ruby and just from a fan of the character's perspective, I really admire that. I think it would be easy to just write it off in a way, ignore it, or find a way to overcome it, but you don't falter with Sam. You take the good with the bad and you expand on it. I miss his silliness - Whitney Houston while on helium - but I don't begrudge his seriousness now, the direction that he's going, and your ability to play it all flawlessly. There are three really huge reasons why I am really sad to be leaving the SPN crew eventually, and your Sam is definite one of them. I don't think that anyone will ever find a better Sam to play with or against. I hope that we, and you, specifically and overall, can continue doing really awesome things, and I can't wait to see where you take him with updates in the future.

I wanted to say, also, how much I really enjoy getting to play with you and thread with you and log with you so much. You're a truly wonderful writer, and you always, I feel, set the bar at such a level when it comes to prose and description. I'm so so so glad that I get to play with you so much, and I hope that we can continue to play and write together for many months or years or whatevers to come.

YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I HATE HMD so I'm just going to reply to the things which may need fixed/will subtly change, and to the love I just give endless, endless thank yous.

• HERMIONE | I do want to get Hermione more... involved in things, although I'm not quite certain how. I'm thinking of maybe having her take up another job, getting involved with the library or the Clock, things like that. Obviously I just need to kick my ass in gear. THIS MONTH HAS BEEN ROUGH. Especially for Hermione because I feel I ended up only mostly keeping up with characters who had active and involved crews, and Hermione's... is admittedly not so much so in comparison with the others.
  
  
• JADIS | CAN I SOB AT YOU MORE? sob.
  
  
• HONG MEI | Can I admit something? At first, even I was wary of playing Hong Mei, because... the things that I let her have, like her power and her adoration of singing, these are things which can get really gimmicky and really are props often used by Mary Sues, etc. But I've really tried to define her by the darker aspects of her culture (which I'm so glad to hear are coming off well) and her power, rather than Sueing it up and making her anything near stable, which she isn't. The singing is something that she could do without, but I kind of wanted something normal for her to do, since her MO is kind of to fade into the background, and... since menial labor doesn't have much of a place in the City and waitressing is just dull to play, I gave her singing. It's going to die down a lot now that I've just integrated that element of her personality into the City, sort of in the way that pregnancy for Eden just became a background way of life, but I definitely wanted to secure that little something for HM. Hopefully it's not awful. orz
  
  
• HIRO | Sob, I'm so glad you think I'm doing him better. I like him better when he has a drive, which is definitely why I thought Wardenship would be, if nothing else, at least a nice experience for him. And it's really helped me figure out a direction that I want to go with him, so... yes. So glad that you think he's improved. ;;
  
  
• SAM | HAHAHA I hate you Kripke. Sam is sometimes a headache anymore, but... slkdjfslkdf lmf. T_T I still love him despite how things have turned out in his canon and yes.
