...you know, that was 4 pages worth of a Word Document up there, and I told myself that whoever brought themselves to actually read through the whole of it first should get an award or something. Wah!

Court System? Jail? L just keeled over in happiness.

And I'm wondering how the money thing will take. WE SHALL SEE, YEAH?

*laughs* We regret to inform L that failure to catch his criminal still delays actual litigation. ^__~

But just the feeling that if he captures someone (all with mun permission of COURSE) he has more to do with them then scold them and send them home? Pleases him.

JUSTICE WILL PREVAIL (yeah right).

But I wonder, with the money system, would he be able to charge for investigations?

L comparatively little if the case amuses him and I think the same goes for his Danuve alias but the Erald Coil one is canonically known to grossly overcharge. Granted it won't take much time to figure out they're ALL L but...

Uch, just like in real world, you can charge for anything: you just gotta find someone stupid enough to pay for it? ^^;;

What if a character already has a job?

All is well in the world, and he'll start actually getting paid for it?

I did have him getting credits that could be exchanged. Implied in the past about the Underground businesses supposedly having a credit system.

You can still use a credit system since the Underground is a vast terrain with its own code of etiquette and economics. Credits can be transfered into cash or vice versa, but realize that the Aboveground will primarily deal in polychromatics. Areas in the Underground can differ depending on your character or plotly needs ^ ^

Oh lawd, Vincent just had a seizure of excitement with the issue of money. And Ichabod is thrilled at the prospect of a jail and legal system. XD
