I really want to write HP trio fic, but I'm not sure I can manage Current Word Count: 3613 of HP fic, 2108 of TVD fic, 1190 of Teen Wolf. I feel ______ about my story: Panicked? I'm struggling with basically five different ideas, the half that has plot is barely started, and the half that I've started doesn't have any plot at all. I'm giving myself one week to pick one. From where I stand I'll probably end up writing 10,000 of Elena/Damon/Stefan crack fic. Snippet:
When Elena closes her locker, she finds Matt fidgeting nervously behind her. He opens his mouth and closes it again. She tenses for a second before she realizes he’s horrified but mostly embarrassed, so there’s little chance anyone she knows has died in the past hour. “So,” he starts awkwardly. “I think Damon was just hitting on me.” She bursts out laughing, then actually considers it. “Oh god.” Once doesn’t seem enough so she repeats it: “Oh god. Did he- He didn’t-” “No! I mean, he put his arm on my shoulders and said the three of us should hang out. That’s kind of how he dates, isn’t it?” She’s not sure how to answer that. “I’ll, uhm, I’ll talk to him.” “OK”. There is a bit of an awkward moment.
