Augh, Lloyd! He loves him dearly and respects him on a level of leadership as well as family. Even though Lloyd is and will always be a bit too soft, that's part of what he admires in him.

Lloyd can actually pull it off and keep going. So all that strict talk is more in effort to protect him--from enemies and from Kratos's own weaknesses, which he tries not to put on him.

Yuri is calm and actually fairly easy for him to talk to. He's good-natured, but not overly energetic, and his somewhat-teasing sense of humor is different from what he's used to. |D It's a good first impression, since Yuri comes off as decently fair.

Kratos likes Colette. Since he's gotten to see how honest and caring she is toward other people, he really feels for her. Also, he sees a lot of his past in Colette and Lloyd, for better or for worse, and looks on Colette as "the source of Lloyd's strength" that deserves to be protected. |D
