I know you said you think his wings at the end of Symphonia were just a temporary boost, but his Exsphere did evolve into SOMETHING. Did it do anything special for him (like how the Cruxis Crystals give people enhanced sight, hearing, etc.)?

Yeah, it did have to evolve into something-- the wings were just temporary.

I'd like to assume that he got some extra strength and stuff from it, but everyone in ToS ends up NOT LEVEL 80 in the sequel. But I like to assume that he got even more strength than his Exsphere already supplied. So. I guess those things got even more enhanced than they usually are.

Curse you ToS2 for not letting the original cast be massively overleveled. But that is gameplay. Lloyd pretty clearly wiped the floor with just about everyone in cutscenes, unless they had Cores.

I wouldn't mind having an overleveled Colette in ToS2 right now. That's just because I'm lazy in battle, though.

Ahh, right! I haven't seen much yet, but he did manage to wipe the floor with Emil and Marta after he ran off with Lumen's core.

Not to mention they don't gain EXP, so having a level 10 Colette while Emil and Marta are both 12~13 in the wind ruins is pretty obnoxious. I want to use the original cast, dammit, not Emil's Pokemon.

Yes. 8( That's true. But considering the point in the game and how Colette was dropped down to level 10, I keep imagining Lloyd being level 10 at that point in time, and he couldn't have wiped them out in one hit while I was level 5.

At least, that's how I tend to think about things in my head. LEVELS ARE ALWAYS THERE FOR ME even if they don't exactly exist in the Symphonia world because it's a video game.

... If that makes sense, at least.
