It's funny because you said what most people would just think. Most people, myself included in this, have thoughts like that all the time, but allow a small amount of social fear (not physical fear, normally, as he sounds like a kid, not really a threat) keep their mouths closed. For the same reason I really don't usually say anything to the people that just leave their carts in the parking lot when the cart return bin is just 10 feet away.
