[I don't remember if I said it here, so for a better understanding: I'm currently working at a Law Library in Paris, as a lawyer]
I had some huge major problem with Word today: I've been working on some project at work for a month, it was about to be over, I thought I would end it today or tomorrow morning the latest: I was glad. But Word decided to be mean: it decided some change(s?) on its own, "ctrl+Z" couldn't change anything, even the "cancel last action" option remained useless: I found myself with a 391 pages document, while it normally was 14 pages long... and with a really really weird presentation, of course... And I have to do all over again now, woohooooo! I couldn't help laughing when it happened, undoubtebly a nervous laugh...
It could be worse though: I always write and keep a "paper version" while I'm working... because you never know what may happen. So... I still have "the core" of my works, I have to write everything again, but at least I don't have to do ALL THE SEARCHINGS again! Which would have meant ONE FULL NEW MONTH OF WORK, the joy! I probably won't end this work before next week finally... but at least I don't have to feel like I worked -for nothing- (or nearly) for a full month... so, it's far from good, but could be worse.
Oh and I'm having fun (for real): My mother wanted to buy a box with alphabet letters (she's a speech therapist: needs it for work, as she mainly works with children), but as these cost a stupid amount of money for what they are (at least 60 euros! yeah!), I proposed her to do one for her... So I'm having fun now, designing one from some boxes I found and bought, and trying to follow my mother's needs: the child has to be able to see all letters when she[my mother]/he[the child] opens the box, everything has to be clean of course... but mainly appealing + for children, voyels have to be in a different color, French "é, è, à" (and so on) have to be included, and lots lots of others... So I'm doing some shopping for that, thinking of colors, sizes, use a calculator to check if everything "gets in, and at what conditions",...: fuuuuuuuuuun!
At least for me!
Yay!
(And Angelo's a great name! Because it made me think of Michaelangelo and "Raphael's angels" at the very second I read this name! Therefore long live Angelo! YAY!)
