I am 100% blaming you for the sudden bunny fever I have. I have spent the past month doing bunny research (because I research things to death before making any sort of decision ever).

Damn you and your bunnies! ;D That being said, this is possibly my favorite Castle fic ever. A+! :D

Are you trying to shame me? Have you not seen that I am WITHOUT SHAME! (Also, one real life Batman has been rescued as a result of this story already and it makes me sooooo happy!)

You must share if you do get a bunny! And researching things to death before you get a pet is a GOOD thing if you are not a millionaire author who can have rabbit pens delivered to Soho in the middle of the night.

Thank you, thank you soooo much!

I somehow hadn't had a chance to read this until now and it's freaking adorable! I just absolutely love the way you've given the bunnies bits of Castle and Beckett's personalities, as well as show their devotion to each other.

And the image of Castle being covered in bunnies in the store is priceless!

Brain is off the reservation as far as cute goes. There is no shame. There is no stopping Brain.

I sometimes have to reboot my entire self when I am overcome by the image of Castle covered in bunnies. Did you see the picture NF tweeted of himself covered in kittens? Reality is messing with me.

Late reply, but I think I used one of those pictures in a Nathan picspam I made for castleland:

AAAAAAAAAGH. This HURTS ME with cute. We moved far far away during the rabbit era of my life so I have the luxury of pretending my beloveds are still alive, with the exception of the baby that had a seizure and died in my hand, of course. :( And his tiny sister. But the others we gave or had given away so I've had a fair few pets but only dealt with them dying rarely, and chief among those were two mice when I was about 6 and not terribly affected. I have a puppy (although we're doing long-distance now) (and she's almost 9), and when she dies I will be a broken human. So I see a lot of merit in the preventative balloon experiment... :

Oh see. I'm 100% sorry! yet . . . The balloon story, for me, is real. I was about 2 and with my dad at a car dealership. Someone offered me a balloon, and I FREAKED. In my mind, I wanted the balloon badly, but couldn't deal with the inevitable time when I didn't have it, but had no words for that. My poor, sleep-deprived, shift-working dad just thought I was being a brat.

The rabbit I had, I ultimately had to give up. I'm a bioarchaeologist, and was going into the field. I found her a family with a much getter life than I could give her, and they were generous, sending me update for as long as she was alive.

Since then I've had and lost a number of pets. Losing them breaks me, but I wouldn't trade having had them in my life.

Yeah, I don't think I would really last long in a situation where I could reasonably provide a good home for a pet and just not get one because of my fraidy heart. But still. :'''(

Also, when I had rabbits, two of my friends each had guinea pigs, and I really missed having a guinea pig because of the more vocal communication. But also BUNNIES. But also TALKING.
