Oh man, I was tearing up by the end of this. I love how you managed to work the whole ensemble in. Ryan in love is the sweetest! His eagerness to tell Kate that he thinks Castle is a good guy was so cute. And I love the glimpse into the bond Beckett and Ryan have. I wonder how the introduction of Ryan to the team shifted the dynamic between Kate and Espo.

I love the way you write imagery. The line about Castle's fingers like ellipses at her waist is beautiful. And I didn't love Kate's dress on the show but the way you wrote about it made me like it a little more.

The dress is not great as a dress. Not that we see Kate in dresses regularly, but it also seems not particularly "like" her.
When I started to write this I looked at a bajillion screen caps of the dress and noticed things about it like those weird flaps. I'm about as far from a fashion maven as it's possible to be, but I offload my sartorial issues on to Kate.

The one thing about the "Till" dress, though is that it DOES cover the scar. Unlike the Limey dress, which I have SUCH ISSUES about that I wrote the unhappiest pretty people fic I've ever written.
