It’s somewhat funny how things end up working out in the end. All the "cool" people i went with to high school are almost all losers. Meanwhile, all the somewhat unknown majority of my graduating class has gone on to turn into really interesting people. Almost all the girls have become more attractive too. This make we wonder how stuff is going to end up for me. I don’t really fall into either of the aforementioned categories. I’m not a loser but I wouldn't call myself interesting. I don’t know.
Today while I was driving, I thought of something that makes sense in a weird way. The reason why nice guys finish last i don’t think has anything to do with their niceness. Typically, nice guys are dependable, reliable, that kind of thing. maybe not the most exciting person you know but always does what he says and says what he’s going to do. I think females interpret that something undesirable. And for the females reading this that may disagree with me, keep this is mind; actions speak louder than words. if you think I’m wrong, look at all your past potential relationships. What probably happened is you just didn't think that guy was super fun or was just too rigid about dates and times. i think everyone will agree that if you aren't on time, you either have to be early or late, with late being the most likely option. so if a guy that is dependable isn't the most fun, would you rather have an unreliable fun guy? Perhaps I can put this in terms of utility; would you rather have a fast car that breaks every week or a slow one that rarely breaks. I don’t think its down to just this one attribute most nice guys possess but I think its one of the roots of the tree that is the collective set of reasons that is the would-be perfidy of females in relation to what say they say they like and what they actually like.
one thing I think all nice guys have to accept is they will always give out more love to fellow human beings, female and male alike, than they will ever get in return. After a long period of time, what happens after you have given out way more than you have gotten in return? What is to be done with this deficit?
