My mom just pulled the "well you said before that you were lukewarm on BU anyways, so this is just karma!" and "if cost were no object, where would you want to go?" crap. This is the thing: I don't fucking care. Almost everyone seems to think that some bullshit liberal arts degree from some overpriced yuppie factory is the most important thing in the world. I'm fine with umass, I'm fine with massart. I want to be a fucking bike mechanic or fabricator. I couldn't give two bloody shits about going to an ivy league money pit, nor could I get into one, or want to. Get off it.
