South Asian Centre of FUN!
Academically and organisationally, this place just about meets the extremely low standards we have come to expect from Friends World, but there's a good time to be had. The students are a good, easygoing bunch, if a bit on the spiritual side, and Bangalore is a hopping town. Last weekend we went to a dusk-to-dawn outdoor traditional music festival, and then after a few hours of sleep, to India's biggest event of the year: BRYAN ADAMS LIVE! You have no idea how popular he is here. It was insane.
Anyway, this place is not half bad. There are some really useless classes, but they are alright once one realises that one doesn't have to pay attention to them at all. I'm just happy being back in South India.
