My FH wants to buy a house by January and get married in June. I don't think that we are going to be able to afford both in that order, we are getting ready to move in with a friend so we'll be saving 600 on rent until we get a house, which is great so i think that we should live with her until we get married and buy a house after, but he is worried that after the elections the interest rates are going to go up and wants to buy while they're still low... I get his point but i just don't think it will work.
Do I have my priorities mixed up? I know that in the long run having a house to live in meanse security and stability (if you do it right) and that a wedding is just a day, a significant one but it only lasts a few hours. If anyone has a comment please feel free...
