Mystery Novels

Hm. Well, you see, after my recent finish of The Two Towers, I started reading some, ahem, shorter books. ^_~ Some of which were Agatha Christie novels. I started picking them up again, yes. Now, I am always amazed at who the murderer turns out to be, especially in the Murder of Roger Ackroyd, but I won't talk about that now, in case someone is wanting to read it... _> Anyway, I recently read the book Death in the Clouds, and, well, I found it a little too easy to figure out who the murderer had been. I'm not going to say who it was, but I basically just went through all the characters and thought, "Who am I least likely to think it is?" and there were two characters. I picked the second-least likely, paired it with other things Hercule Poirot said during the book (oh, and, um, no, I didn't include Poirot as one of my suspects XD), and, whaddaya know, I turned out to be right. ...As a result, I didn't like that one nearly as much as the others. :-/ Does that mean that I should just stop guessing and read the book, and consequentially be amazed at the solution? Because pride at figuring it out just doesn't make the book better. Ah, well. I'm glad I realized that. I suppose I would have had to sooner or later. ^_^
