He loves putting 9/11 and Iraq in the same sentence in all his speeches, but his rhetoric about Bin Laden has dropped to almost nothing.

The scary part is it seems to be working. It's like BL has really dropped out of the consciousness of the American public.

Well, they've got Hurricane Katrina to worry about now. Of course, the president's reponse to that is showing more of his brilliant crisis management skills.

That implies they're trying to catch him or that they haven't already caught him (or killed him in the attempt) and decided he makes an excellent bogeyman so that they can continue their "War on Adjectives". So I wonder if they'll even try to catch him, at least until mid- to late-2006 (or 2008). It makes no sense - keep everyone scared, and you can do pretty much what you want to them.
