The "Dear Friends" Final Fantasy symphony is tonight. Oh boy oh boy oh boy.

Saw Swingers again last night at a friend's place. Man I love that movie. I think it's because so far, it's the only movie to really show dating the way it is. Not in the cheesy, Hollywood romance flicks that never actually happen, but as reality.
So a few favs:
Trent: I don't want you to be the guy in the PG-13 movie everyone's really hoping makes it happen. I want you to be like the guy in the rated R movie, you know, the guy you're not sure whether or not you like yet. You're not sure where he's coming from. Okay? You're a bad man. You're a bad man, Mikey. You're a bad man, bad man.
Trent: You take yourself out of the game. You start talking about puppy dogs and ice cream and of course it's going to end up on the friendship tip.
Trent: Oh Mikey do you think I even know what the hell they are talking about half the time? I don't know whether they are talking about how hard it is to be adopted or how their father never shows them love. All I do man, is I wrinkle my eyebrows, stare at their lips and somehow I turn out to be some big sweetie.
Rob: Those guys are right. You're money.
Mike: Then why won't she call?
Rob: She won't call because you left. She's got her own life to deal with and that's in New York. She's a sweet girl and I love her to pieces, but fuck her, man. You've got to get on with your life. You've got to let go of the past Mikey, and when you do, the future is beautiful.
