president obama! (i didn't get to see him at all)
sooooooo i guess i kinda was part of history?
i came monday night on the wonderful boltbus and then got very little sleep to go to the inauguration.
we left liz's house around 5 and then took the bus as far as we could and then walked for a little bit.
i wore 2 undershirts, 2 long sleeve shirts, a sweater, tights under my pants, 2 scarves, a hat, and gloves AND WAS FREEZING. we got there at 6 so we had to wait 5 hours for the inauguration .about 2 hours in liz, mer, and i were too miserable to stay... so we left. we all kinda regret it, but standing there among the people in the windy cold was just too much to handle. plus my asthma was kicking in hardcore because of the cold air. after we decided to leave it took us 3 hours to get to the metro...it was so packed everywhere. i wonder how many people were there.

i'm so drained, i can't really think, but i'm so very glad i came here.
i would have come just to hang with liz, mer, and sallie anyway, so i really don't even care that i didn't stay for the actual inauguration. it was a crazy awesome experience...no regrets!
and totally random, but....michelle's ballgown is gorgeous!! love it. what a good looking presidency we have!
