When I first wrote this, I actually only wanted to do a few smutty one-shots (OTL yes i'm a perv), but as I was writing the second part, things got a whole lot serious and I just had to put a plot twist in there somewhere! I'm super glad you're rooting for dear Baekhyun here! He's the epitome of hope in this series, and I guess I'm just super heartless because I have a lot of emotional bomb-drops in store for him next, so please stay strong with him! And Kyungsoo is a person full of contradictions, isn't he? xD It was so much fun writing him, and the thing with his character is that he's living in his own world of carefully constructed lies. but in case I haven't properly been clear about it, Kyungsoo might be in denial of being in love with Baekhyun xD
